A beautifully shaped, hand-cast magnet is integrated into the bottom of the porcelain plates. To keep the plates in place while driving, they must be combined with a metal counterpart. For this purpose, we recommend our metal nano-gel mat or placemat. This counterpart is not included in the set. The force ratio between the magnetic plates and the metal nano-gel accessory is perfectly balanced, so the plates are secured by the metal counterpart while also being easy to remove from it. The anti-slip coating on the underside of the tableware provides additional grip.
Thanks to smart nano-gel technology, both the mat and the placemat can be removed without leaving any residue, cleaned with clear water, and reused as often as desired . This gives you maximum flexibility, allowing you to use your magnetic plates wherever you need them—including while driving. The magnetic attraction causes the plates to hold together and be stacked / stored securely and without rattling in the cabinet.
To match the tableware, we recommend our smart stainless-steel travel cutlery set (not included).
The highest quality and Made in Germany (handmade!) are our standards. Each piece is unique—small dots, irregularities, or slight variations in the glaze underscore its individual character.
